-
- This game consists of a very large number of puzzles. You are
- presented with four digits. Your job is to make the number 24
- out of the digits using only addition, multiplication, subtraction
- and division.
-
- For example:
- 5 9
- 2 2
-
- can be solved as ((9 + 5) - 2) * 2.
-
- Or:
- 8 1
- 9 3
- can be solved as 1 * 8 * (9/3).
-
- The puzzles are presented in flashcard form only: there is no
- direct interaction with the game. However, you >can< drag the
- current flashcard around the screen. If you give up, press the
- "answer key" and see one of the valid answers. You can press
- the "new puzzle key" until you find a puzzle to your liking.
-
- Hope you enjoy it. I find it to be a good travel game. Its also
- good for drilling kids in arithmetic and can be played with a
- timer and several people if you like...
-
- This game is FiggleWare. Do not change it. Do not sell it. Distribute
- it freely. If you liked it or just want to chat, send me mail at
- erica@cc.gatech.edu. (Yeah--I know the address is slightly chopped
- in "info...")
